Rafael Platas serves as the Co-CEO and Founder of Uptalent.io, focusing on connecting top nearshore professionals with growing companies since January 2020. Prior experience includes co-founding HYP3R, where a platform was developed to facilitate collaboration between startups and software developers in Mexico and Latin America from July 2018 to January 2020. While at Lemon Tree Media from September 2016 to January 2020, Rafael worked as a Business Consultant, specializing in digital marketing strategies. Earlier roles at Juma Ventures from January 2008 to September 2016 included Director of Business Operations and General Manager, overseeing the organization's social enterprise operations across multiple markets and managing significant teams. Rafael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Universidad Anáhuac Veracruz and has furthered education through Stanford Continuing Studies.
