Ashley Ward has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They started their career as a Sales Advisor at Marks and Spencer in 2003, where they gained experience in customer service and store administration. They then moved on to work as a Sales Advisor at Woolworths, where they also took on responsibilities for stock replenishment and store tidying.

In 2008, Ashley joined New Look as a Team Member, where they excelled in assisting customers and achieved targets for opening new store cards. They were also trusted with recruitment, staff training, cash management, and deep cleaning shifts.

Ashley's passion for IT led them to work as an IT & Retail Analyst at JD Williams from 2013 to 2016, where they worked on the development and deployment of digital receipts and stock management solutions. They continued this role at Sopra Steria from 2016 to 2019 while also taking on the role of Infrastructure Engineer.

In 2019, Ashley joined Cheadle Hulme School as an IT Solutions Engineer, providing support for server and network infrastructure, as well as guidance on best practices and staff training. They then moved on to Novem Ltd in 2020 as a Senior Technical Engineer, where they provided 2nd and 3rd line support for customers and worked on new customer onboarding and business improvement projects.

Most recently, Ashley worked at Sorted Group as a Technical Support Analyst, where they provided technical support and are currently employed at KrakenFlex (Octopus Energy Group) as a Solutions Engineer.

Ashley Ward pursued their higher education from 2009 to 2012 at The University of Salford, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Networks. Their field of study focused on Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Prior to their university experience, Ashley attended Albion High School, but there is no information available regarding any specific degree earned or field of study pursued at that institution.

Additionally, Ashley has acquired certifications in the field of technology. In July 2021, they became a Datto Certified Practitioner in SaaS Protection through Datto, Inc. Furthermore, in February 2022, Ashley obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
