Josephine Wu has a diverse and extensive work experience. Josephine started their career as a Research Assistant at UCSF in 2015, where they worked for two months. Josephine then transitioned to the role of Digital Photographer at UC Berkeley from 2015 to 2017. From 2014 to 2018, Josephine worked as a Freelance Photographer under their own name. In 2018, they joined Google as a Recruiting Coordinator, where they worked until 2020. From 2020 to 2021, Josephine worked as a Freelance UX/UI and Product Designer. Following that, they held positions as a Product Designer at Frec from December 2021 to May 2022, and at Clubhouse from May 2022 to December 2022. Josephine then joined ECHOES as a Product Designer from December 2022 to April 2023. Currently, Josephine is working as a Product Designer at Upperstudy, starting in December 2021. Josephine will also be starting a position as a Product Designer at Sydecar in April 2023.

Josephine Wu completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley from 2013 to 2017. In 2020, they enrolled in Designlab's UX Academy. Josephine also attended Osaka University in 2017 and Lund University in 2016, although the specific degrees or fields of study are not provided for these periods. Additionally, they attended the San Diego North County Chinese School from 2000 to 2013, where they studied Chinese.
