Sami Kivinen has extensive experience in research and development within the adhesive and labeling industry. Currently serving as Manager of R&D at UPM Raflatac since January 2007, Sami Kivinen focuses on the long-term development of adhesives for labels. Prior to this role, Sami Kivinen worked as a Development Engineer at UPM-Kymmene from October 2002 to December 2006, contributing to a smart labels venture. Earlier experience includes positions as a Research Assistant in Environmental Chemistry at Tampere University of Technology and at the Paul Scherrer Institute. Sami Kivinen's academic background includes studies at Tampere University of Technology, spanning from 1996 to 2002.
