Flora D'Souza is an experienced sustainability professional with a strong background in sustainable packaging and life cycle assessment (LCA). Currently serving as Sustainability Manager at UPM Raflatac since July 2021, Flora previously held the position of Senior Consultant at Sphera, focusing on the GaBi Packaging Calculator. At thinkstep, Flora led over 30 international LCA and ecodesign projects in the FMCG sector and developed the GaBi Packaging Calculator for sustainable packaging design. Earlier consultancy work involved managing over 50 LCA projects in electronics and consumer goods, including the development of master models for various technologies. Flora's career began as an Adjunct Scientist at the Charles Darwin Research Station, specializing in population dynamics and environmental simulations. Flora holds an MSc in Tropical Aquatic Ecology from the University of Bremen and a BSc in Biology from Jacobs University Bremen.
