Michael Brinkman serves as the Secondary Science Curriculum Coordinator at Uplift Education since June 2016, where responsibilities include coordinating curriculum and assessment to enhance instructional practices in science, aiming to prepare students for college readiness. Prior to this role, Michael worked as a Science Facilitator for K-12 at Grand Prairie ISD from August 2006 to June 2016, focusing on curriculum, assessment, and instruction, and also has experience as a High School Science Educator. Michael holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biophysics from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Southwestern University.
