Savan Thakkar has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Savan is currently working at uPerform as a Sr. Software Engineer, a role they started in February 2021. Prior to that, they held the same role at ADP from February 2018 to February 2021. From January 2007 to February 2018, Savan was a Team Leader at PaperSave. Savan began their career at Alakmalak Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in June 2005, where they worked as a Sr. Software Engineer until January 2007.

Savan Thakkar started their education in 2001 at Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Developing SQL Databases 2016 (70-762) from Microsoft Certification. Savan also earned a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Furthermore, Savan Thakkar acquired the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2021.
