Sabyasachi Thakur has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering and cloud computing. Sabyasachi started their career at Mindtree in 2017 as a Software Engineer, where they built ESB ETL pipelines and trained a team of freshers. In 2020, they joined CompuCom as a Cloud Data Engineer and successfully migrated a data warehouse from MySQL to Snowflake, resulting in improved performance and scalability. Next, they worked at KPMG India as a Cloud Data Engineer, where they focused on risk analysis of manufacturing plants and modernizing legacy data warehouses using Azure cloud tools. Currently, Sabyasachi is working at upday as a Senior Data Engineer, building automated data pipelines and performing data quality checks in an Azure cloud environment.

Sabyasachi Thakur attended Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha from 2013 to 2017. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies/Technicians. In addition to their formal education, Sabyasachi also obtained certifications in Data Curation Foundations and Google Cloud Platform for Enterprise Essential Training from LinkedIn in December 2022.
