Justin Young has extensive experience in corporate strategy, venture capital, and operational management within the insurance and finance sectors. Currently serving as AVP of Unum Ventures, Justin manages Unum Group’s Corporate Venture Capital fund, focusing on early-stage investments across insurtech, fintech, and healthtech. Prior roles include Associate at Oliver Wyman, where strategic transformation initiatives were implemented for multinational clients, and Director positions at Unum, overseeing corporate strategy, innovation enablement, and business venture development. Justin also held leadership roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance, managing analyst development programs and operational strategies. An MBA graduate from Boston University, Justin also holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut.
