Tom Dougherty has a diverse range of work experience in the digital and creative industries. From 2003 to 2005, they worked at Proactive South as a Designer, focusing on designing websites for artists and event companies. Tom was responsible for managing clients, guiding them through the design process and ensuring successful project outcomes.
In 2005, Tom joined UNRVLD as a Digital Art Director, leading a team of six designers and overseeing the production of high-quality design work. Tom had a strong focus on visual design and information architecture, collaborating closely with clients to meet their objectives. After two years in this role, they transitioned to become the User Experience Director, a position they held for 13 years until 2020.
As the User Experience Director, Tom played a crucial role in shaping the user experience of various projects, ensuring optimum usability and customer satisfaction. Tom also worked on successful projects as a Chief Growth Officer, responsible for account development, new business strategies, and marketing initiatives. Tom served as a board member and company director during their tenure at UNRVLD.
In October 2020, Tom was promoted to Managing Director at UNRVLD, where they continued to lead the agency until January 2023. Throughout their career, Tom demonstrated a strong ability to manage teams, meet client objectives, and contribute to the growth and success of the organizations they worked for.
Tom Dougherty attended Harlow College from 1998 to 2000, where they pursued their A Levels. Following this, they enrolled at Bournemouth University from 2000 to 2003 and successfully completed their degree in Interactive Media Production. Tom achieved a First Class BA Honours for their studies at Bournemouth University.
