Irina Tontcheva

Programme Development Support - Trafficking In Falsified Medical Products at UNODC

Irina Tontcheva is a skilled professional with experience in international relations and policy development, currently serving in the UNODC as a Programme Development Support focusing on Trafficking in Falsified Medical Products. Irina has contributed to various organizations, including the European Student Think Tank as a writer, the European External Action Service as a trainee, and the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime as an associate, where substantial analytical research on organized crime was conducted. Previous roles include project assistant at the UNCAC Coalition, where support was provided to civil society organizations, and positions at WWF and the National Coalition Against Censorship. Irina holds a Master's degree in European Politics and Policy from UCL and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from Leiden University, complemented by an exchange program in Political Science at the University of Leeds.
