Nayeli Chavez-Geller is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in broadcast journalism. Currently serving as a Senior Correspondent for Univision Communications Inc. since February 2011, Nayeli specializes in breaking news, investigative stories, and live coverage, with notable reports including the 9/11 attacks and the 2015 Pope visit in New York. Prior to this role, Nayeli worked as a Freelance Correspondent for CNN from April 2009 to December 2010 and held various positions at Univision Network from March 2000 to March 2009, which included reporting, producing national and international news stories, and field producing significant events. Nayeli holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from The City University of New York, earned between 1994 and 1999.
