Alba Eduardo is a seasoned professional in the news industry with over 22 years of experience. Currently serving as the Assistant News Director at Univision Communications Inc. since April 2012, Alba demonstrates strong leadership in the newsroom while staying updated on news trends. Previous roles include Assignment Manager, where responsibilities involved managing the Assignment Desk team and handling breaking news, and Chief Assignment Editor, overseeing story assignments and crew dispatch. Prior to Univision, Alba held positions at Fox 5 (WNYW-TV New York) as an Assignment Editor, WWOR TV 9 as a Planning Editor, and WNJU-TV Broadcasting Corp. as a Special Projects Producer/Assignment Editor. Alba holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film and Television and Journalism from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts.
