Franjo Pehar is an accomplished academic currently serving as an Associate Professor and Head of the Laboratory for Interactive Systems and User Experience at the University of Zadar since May 2022. Franjo Pehar also leads the User Engagement & Training for the OPERAS-PLUS project, focusing on enhancing user interaction through a robust methodological framework. With a career at the University of Zadar spanning over two decades, Franjo Pehar has held various roles such as Assistant Professor, Senior Research & Teaching Assistant, and Head of the Department of Information Sciences. Academic contributions include participation in the Morepress initiative for digital publications and membership in several educational committees and councils. Franjo Pehar holds a PhD in Information Sciences and degrees in Library & Information Science and Sociology from the University of Zagreb.
