Julia Tanenbaum is an accomplished Processing Archivist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where responsibilities include creating DACS compliant finding aids for various archival collections and co-supervising a student worker. Previous experience includes serving as a Robert F. Smith Archives Intern at the Amistad Research Center, curating a digital exhibit at the June L. Mazer Archives, and conducting a digital materials survey for the June L. Mazer Lesbian Archives. Julia also worked as a Library Student Reference Assistant at UCLA, where research assistance was provided to faculty and students, and has engaged in research focused on the local Civil Rights Movement. Julia holds a Master of Library & Information Science from UCLA, specializing in Archival Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Bryn Mawr College.
