Jamie Temple, MSCP, LPC, is an experienced Trauma-Informed Care Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since July 2014, where responsibilities include the development and oversight of initiatives to enhance trauma-informed care for students. As a Lecturer in the School of Social Work, Jamie designs and instructs a course focused on masculinities and violence prevention. Previous roles include Survivor Services Coordinator, providing advocacy and support for student survivors of violence, and Campus Counselor/Advocate at the Rape Crisis Center - Dane County. Jamie has also served as a Grief Recovery Specialist and facilitated group therapy for youths facing various challenges. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University and a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from Knox College.
