Akash Deepak is a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, expected to graduate in May 2026. Akash has diverse experience in technical roles, currently serving as a Technical Student Staff member at UW-Madison CoE Makerspace since October 2022, where advanced prototyping equipment operation and student assistance are key responsibilities. Akash is also an active member of Wisconsin Racing, contributing to projects such as the validation of a pedal plausibility model and manufacturing carbon fiber components. Previous internships at Rockwell Automation included roles as a Research Intern in Advanced Technology Research Lab and Application Engineering Intern, focusing on testing automation and workflow optimization respectively. Additional experience includes working as a Photographer for Wisconsin Engineer Magazine and as a Customer Specialist at Best Buy. Akash began higher education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, pursuing a dual enrollment in Mathematics before transitioning to UW-Madison.
