Yuzhen Liu is a graduate student at the University of Washington, with a focus on developing scalable methods for profiling molecular communities and enhancing processes in proteomics and nucleic acid interaction discovery. Previously, Yuzhen worked at Fred Hutch as a Research Technician II, contributing to significant findings on androgen receptor mechanisms in prostate cancer and developing patient-derived organoid models for bladder cancer research. Earlier experiences include roles at the University of Toronto and Orion Corporation, where Yuzhen evaluated antiviral peptides, conducted high-throughput screening assays, and characterized pharmacological properties. Yuzhen holds an Honours Bachelor of Science with High Distinction in Pharmacology and Biomedical Toxicology from the University of Toronto.
