Stefanie Malone is an experienced Engagement & Impact Project Manager at WETA, focusing on national PBS programs, including collaborations with prominent figures such as Ken Burns and Henry Louis Gates, Jr. Since August 2023, Stefanie has worked as a Producer at the University of Washington, overseeing video production for events and guest speakers. As a freelance Producer, Director, and Writer since 2012, Stefanie has created award-winning content for clients including Amazon and Microsoft. Previously, Stefanie served as Executive Director of NFFTY, returning to lead the organization again for the 2024 festival after an earlier tenure from 2013 to 2017. Prior roles also include Executive Producer at Cascade PBS, where Stefanie secured funding and developed educational media projects, and serving as a Prior Learning Evaluator at Antioch University. Stefanie holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Ohio University and attended the Wild Mind Film Camp for a Documentary Intensive in 2012.
