Lucy Miller is currently a Clean Energy Institute Graduate Fellow and Chemistry Graduate Student at the University of Washington, where also serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for undergraduate organic chemistry laboratories. Prior experience includes serving as an Inorganic Research Methodologies Teaching Assistant at Bryn Mawr College, supervising chemistry majors in laboratory settings, and working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Melvin Research Group, focusing on optimizing deoxyfluorination reactions. Lucy has also gained industry experience as a Chemical Process and Analytical Development Intern at Seagen, applying advanced synthetic chemistry techniques. Previous roles include a Dining Services Supervisor and customer service positions, showcasing strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Lucy holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Bryn Mawr College and graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA from St. Mary's Academy.
