Joseph Dieleman is an Associate Professor at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, leading the Resource Tracking research team focused on health expenditure estimation in the US and globally. Dieleman holds several academic roles at the University of Washington, including Assistant Professor, Acting Assistant Professor, and Affiliate Faculty in the Center for Statistics and Social Science. Previous teaching experience includes instructing economics courses at the University of Washington and serving as a high school math teacher at the International School of Tegucigalpa. Dieleman's academic credentials include a PhD in Economics and an MA in Economics from the University of Washington, along with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and International Development from Calvin University.
