Chanaka Keerthisinghe is a Senior Data Scientist at Utopus Insights, leading innovations in data analytics since September 2021. Concurrently, Chanaka serves as an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Washington. Previous roles include Staff Scientist at Washington Clean Energy Testbeds and Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Washington, where Chanaka contributed to significant projects such as the Arlington Microgrid project. Education includes a PhD in Power Engineering from the University of Sydney and a Master of Engineering from the University of Auckland, among other qualifications. Chanaka has extensive teaching experience and has contributed to research in energy systems, leading to patents and publications in the field.
