Alessandro Bogliolo is a Full Professor of Computer Systems at the University of Urbino since 2002, specializing in wireless sensor networks, gamification, and mobile crowd-sensing while teaching courses in Computer Architecture and Computational Thinking. Previously, Alessandro served as an Associate Professor, Head of the School of Information Science and Technology, and Director of the Information Science and Technology Institute at DIGIT srl, focusing on digital social innovation and technology transfer. Additional roles include presidencies and board memberships at various institutions, along with visiting positions at Stanford University and the University of Kent. Alessandro holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
