Sheena Maria Connell serves as the Assistant Director of International Student & Scholar Services at the University of the Incarnate Word® since January 2012, focusing on research and implementation of university policies. Connell's extensive involvement with NAFSA: Association of International Educators includes roles such as Content Coordinator for the Annual Conference Committee, Chair of the Knowledge Community for International Students & Scholar Services, and ISTA Network Leader, emphasizing collaboration and support for international education professionals. Previous experience includes advising international students at the University of Oklahoma and coordination efforts at the University of North Texas, where Connell also founded and captained the Women's Ultimate team. Connell holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of North Texas.
