Alisa Webb

Vice President, Students at University of the Fraser Valley

Alisa Webb serves as the Vice President of Students at the University of the Fraser Valley, contributing to the institution since September 2004 in various roles, including Associate Professor and Acting Vice Provost Academic. Webb has also held leadership positions as Associate Dean of Students and Chair of both the Social, Cultural, and Media Studies and History departments. Additionally, Webb represents the Faculty of Humanities in the Senate and engages in teaching as a Sessional Instructor. In July 2023, Webb became the BC Coordinator for the NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education Region V Advisory Board, focusing on enhancing student affairs practices. Prior experience includes serving as System Liaison for the BC Council on Admissions & Transfer and leadership roles in the BC History Articulation Group. Webb obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in History from Simon Fraser University and furthered education with a Master of Arts, a Post-Secondary Teaching Certificate, and a Bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Sociology, alongside additional training from Justice Institute of British Columbia.
