Christos Kontos is an accomplished academic and molecular biologist with extensive experience in higher education and research. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens since January 2018, Christos also works as a Molecular Biologist at the Prolepsis Institute of Preventive Medicine Environmental and Occupational Health. Christos has held multiple teaching positions, including Lecturer at the University of the Aegean and has accumulated significant postdoctoral research experience at various institutions, including the University of Athens and Democritus University of Thrace, spanning from 2011 to 2017. Christos Kontos holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, earned in 2004.
