Gillian Biscoe AM has extensive experience in leadership and governance within the health sector and beyond. Currently serving as a member of the Nominations Committee and Chair of the Program Committee at Tasmanian Leaders Inc, as well as a Founding and continuing Board Director, Gillian has also held influential roles at the World Health Organization as Chair of the Technical Advisory Group on Universal Health Coverage and as a Special Advisor. Other significant positions include Chair of the Policy & Advocacy Committee and Director at the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators, Executive Director of The Bellettes Bay Company, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Tasmania. Gillian is recognized as a Member of the Order of Australia and has contributed to various national policy committees throughout a distinguished career in health administration, marked by earlier roles as Secretary at the Tasmanian Department of Community Services & Health and the ACT Department of Health and ACT Board of Health. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science from the University of California, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Health Administration from UNSW.
