Richard Heron

Honorary Professor Of Work, Health And Organisations at University of Surrey

Richard Heron is an accomplished physician-executive with over 30 years of international experience in corporate health leadership and professional health organizations. Currently serving as Managing Director at Heron Health Consulting Ltd, Richard provides consultancy on health, work, wellbeing, and performance. In addition to this, Richard holds several esteemed positions, including Honorary Professor of Work, Health and Organisations at the University of Surrey, Expert Advisor at the World Economic Forum, and Global Wellbeing Advisory Board Member at Champion Health. Richard has co-chaired the International Occupational Medicine Society Collaborative since 2013 and is a Professorial Fellow of International Business and Health at the University of Nottingham. Previous roles include Vice-President of Health at BP, President of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine UK, and President of the Society of Occupational Medicine. Richard's educational background includes a degree in Medicine from the University of Birmingham.
