Andrew Sherlock is a seasoned academic and industry leader with extensive experience in data-driven manufacturing and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Professor of Practice at the University of Strathclyde and Director of Data-Driven Manufacturing at the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland, Andrew also holds the position of CEO at EdAR (Software) Ltd and ShapeSpace Ltd. Prior roles include Professor of Data-Driven Manufacturing at the University of Edinburgh and Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor in Design for Product Profitability. Andrew's career in academia began with lecturing at the University of Edinburgh and has included significant engineering leadership positions, such as Vice President of Engineering at Actify, Inc. Andrew holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a BEng (Hons) in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.
