Bikram Banerjee

Bikram Banerjee is a knowledgeable academic and researcher in the field of remote sensing and digital agriculture, currently serving as a Lecturer at the University of Southern Queensland since September 2023. Previously, Bikram held the role of Senior Research Scientist in Digital Agriculture at Agriculture Victoria from October 2018 to September 2023, focusing on the application of advanced remote sensing technologies for crop phenotyping. Additional experience includes serving as a Research Fellow at La Trobe University, a Research Assistant at UNSW for a project involving UAV-based sensing tools, and a Teaching Assistant and Junior Research Fellow at various Indian Institutes. Bikram completed a PhD in Remote Sensing at UNSW and holds an MTech from the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing and a BTech from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology.
