Lauren Bartlett is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and crisis management. Currently serving as the Associate Vice President for Strategic Communications at the University of Southern California since 2018, Lauren has developed effective strategies for managing crisis communications and media relations, collaborating with campus leadership and legal teams. Previously, Lauren held roles as Senior Director of Communications at USC, Director At Large for the Society of Professional Journalists, and Senior Manager of Corporate Communications at Blue Shield of California. Earlier experience includes significant positions at Southern California Edison and UCLA, where Lauren was instrumental in media relations and crisis response initiatives. Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UCLA.
