Deb Bell-Versluis serves as the Senior Director of Communications & Web Presence at the University of Southern California since January 2021, leading a team that enhances communications for the HR, Equity, and Compliance division. Prior to this role, Deb held the position of Director of Corporate Communications & Charitable Foundation at Smart & Final, where strategic communications were developed for a large organization. Additional experience includes directing public relations at Citizen Relations for major brands, managing media engagement at Taco Bell, and various roles in public relations and event management. Deb Bell-Versluis holds an M.A. in Communication Management from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in Communication from the University of Arizona.
