Benjamin Tully is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Branchpoint Biosciences since April 2023 and serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California since June 2022. Previously, Tully co-founded Branchpoint Biosciences while working at the Alfred E Mann Foundation for Biomedical Engineering from January 2019 to April 2023. Tully held the role of Bioinformatics Lead at Tiny Health from January 2022 to July 2022 and worked at the University of Southern California in various positions from August 2007 to December 2021, including Senior Scientist and Research Associate focused on microbial life in the deep marine and terrestrial biosphere. Tully earned a PhD in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of Southern California in 2013, completed a Data Science program at General Assembly in 2014, and obtained a BA in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Rutgers University in 2007.
