Jac Fought is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and research. Currently serving as the Chief Engineer in the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of South Carolina since June 2022, Jac also functions as the Managing Partner at Sensors & Systems Solutions LLC since May 2018. Prior roles include Assistant Professor and Visiting Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University from July 2018 to August 2022, and various positions at Battelle from March 1997 to March 2018, including Research Leader and Maritime Systems Sensors Business Line Manager. Additionally, Jac served as a Fire Controlman First Class in the US Navy from March 1984 to March 1990. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
