Brent Andrew is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications, public relations, and organizational management. As the Founder and Principal of Speaking Plainly since January 2012, Brent focuses on turning challenges into opportunities for brand amplification and audience engagement. Brent’s diverse roles include serving as an Adjunct Professor of Communications and Public Relations at the University of San Francisco, and as a Senior Vice President at Keadjian Associates, where collaborative communication strategies were developed for prominent clients. Previous positions include Chief Communications Officer for the City and County of San Francisco, Managing Director at Pyramid Communications, and various roles at Chevron, showcasing expertise in media relations and crisis management. Brent holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Ph.D. candidate in Decision Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.S. from The Wharton School.
