Joanna Briggs is the Founder and CEO of What Matters CIC, a social enterprise established in March 2020 that focuses on aiding young adults from underrepresented backgrounds in their career and personal development by addressing inequalities. Additionally, Joanna serves as a Board Member for the School of Humanities & Social Sciences at the University of Roehampton since December 2021, and held the position of Academic Representation Coordinator at KCLSU from April to October 2022. Prior experience includes roles as HR Advisor, HR Coordinator, and Sales Support at Close Brothers Premium Finance from July 2019 to March 2022, and Business Operations Administrator at Close Brothers from August 2018 to May 2019. Previous positions include Co-Director and Sabbatical Officer at Roehampton Students' Union, as well as reception and sales roles at Nuffield Health and Argos. Joanna earned a BA in English Literature and History from the University of Roehampton between 2014 and 2017 and attended Claremont High School Academy Trust from 2010 to 2014.
