Cindy Liberatore currently serves as the Executive Director of Development for the Swanson School of Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh since November 2021. Serving as a board member for the PathWays Foundation of Southwestern Pennsylvania, Liberatore has previously held significant roles at the WVU Foundation, including Executive Director of Development at WVU Medicine Children's, where successful relationship-building efforts resulted in substantial fundraising outcomes. Liberatore's experience also includes roles as Managing Director of Development and Regional Development Officer, achieving millions in secured gifts through strategic marketing and community engagement. Liberatore earned a Master of Arts Degree in Corporate & Organizational Communication from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism & Mass Communication with a Public Relations specialization from Marshall University.
