Alicia Oglesby currently serves as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Doctoral Program in Urban Education at the University of Pittsburgh. Oglesby has extensive experience in educational counseling, holding positions such as Associate Director of College Counseling at Winchester Thurston School and High School Counselor for Lower Moreland Township. Previous roles include Director of School Counseling at Bishop McNamara High School and a High School College Counselor at KIPP DC. Oglesby's background also includes psychotherapy experience with WTC, WOAR, and WIT, alongside academic advising as a School Counseling Intern in the School District of Philadelphia. Oglesby holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Howard University and a Master's Degree in Clinical, Counseling and Applied Psychology from Chestnut Hill College, among other educational qualifications.
