Kari Hexem is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Community Oral Health Department at the University of Pennsylvania since July 2015. Concurrently, Kari served as Chief Clinical Officer, Chief Dental Officer, and Dental Director at Philadelphia FIGHT from July 2015 to February 2024. Kari holds a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, obtained between 2011 and 2015. Additionally, Kari earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology from Oregon Health & Science University from 2005 to 2007 and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Cultural Anthropology from Reed College.
