Davis Brown is a Data Scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since November 2020, contributing to research within the Mathematics of Data Science team. Previously, as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Davis simulated diffraction patterns of carbon nanotubes and developed a ConvNet architecture for determining chiral indices. Davis also worked at Dendra Systems as a Data Scientist and served as a Digital Equity Research Intern at The Enterprise Center of Chattanooga, where a 75-page report on digital inclusion was authored. Early experiences include a role as an Outward Bound Graduate, which honed leadership and emergency protocols through an extensive outdoor expedition. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Physics with minors in Business Administration and Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
