Simone Porcelli is an Associate Professor of Human Physiology at Università degli Studi di Pavia since March 2020 and serves as a Senior Researcher at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche. In addition, Simone Porcelli has worked as a Sport Medicine consultant for the FISI - Federazione Italiana Sport Invernali since April 2015 and was previously a Senior Researcher at CNR-IBFM from September 2017 to December 2018, as well as a Post-doc at the National Research Council of Italy from April 2013 to September 2017. Past experience includes serving as Team Doctor for the Italian Rugby Team from August 2010 to December 2013 and for Fc Internazionale from September 2014 to June 2015. Educational qualifications include a specialization in Sport Medicine from Università degli Studi di Milano, a PhD from Università degli Studi di Udine, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Università degli Studi di Milano. Research interests encompass the evaluation of ventilatory, cardiovascular, and metabolic responses to physical exercise across various ergometers and environmental conditions.
