Alex Barnett currently serves as the Communications Manager for Migration and Borders at CloudKubed and holds the position of Company Director at Merlin Real Estate Ltd. Prior experience includes significant roles at the Bank of England, where Alex was a Communications and Engagement Senior Manager, and Head of Communications at the Government Internal Audit Agency. Alex has also worked within the UK Home Office as an Internal Comms Manager, as well as with Highways England in various communications roles, including Senior Internal Comms Officer and National Press Officer. Earlier in the career, Alex served as a Representative for the PCS Union, providing support and advice to colleagues, and engaged in volunteer work as a Driver Trainer for St John Ambulance. Alex attended Brunel University London, studying Mechanical Engineering, and completed education at Whitgift School in Croydon.
