Monica Barkman currently serves as the Online MBA Development Manager at the University of Otago, a position held since March 2005, focusing on the enhancement and development of the online MBA program, while providing support to lecturers and managing the online class support team. Previously, Monica worked as an eLearning Consultant, supporting various eLearning tools, and held multiple roles at the University of Otago, including Senior Customer Service Representative and Manager of the ITS Service Desk. Earlier experience includes serving as a Training Advisor for the Otago Playcentre Association, Playcentre Supervisor, and Education Support Worker, along with roles in clerical work at the Ministry of Works and Development. Monica holds a BSc in Information Science from the University of Otago and a Diploma in Teaching (ECE) from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand.
