David Degnan

Biostatistics & Bioinformatics Instructor at University of Oregon

David Degnan is a skilled Biological Data Scientist with extensive experience in bioinformatics and biostatistics. Currently serving at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since April 2019, David has also taken on roles as Research Associate and Bioinformatics Intern. In addition, David is an instructor for Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at the University of Oregon, where involvement began in October 2022, complementing earlier experience as an Organic Chemistry Teaching Assistant at the same institution. Previously, David contributed as a Murdock Scholar Research Intern at Oregon Health and Science University and held positions as a Teacher's Assistant and Research Assistant in the Duerr Lab at George Fox University. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Bioinformatics and Genomics from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from George Fox University.
