Mark Lubas is an accomplished vocal educator and performer with extensive experience in both teaching and stage performance. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Voice at the University of Tampa and the State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota since August 2016, Lubas also performs with the Opera Tampa Chorus and has been active with the Choral Artists of Sarasota as a Tenor Section Leader since September 2013. As the owner and director of Lubas Voice & Stage Studio of Sarasota since September 2005, individualized lessons in singing and acting are offered, emphasizing healthy voice use and personal strengths. Lubas holds a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music and has a robust background in directing and producing theatrical productions, previously serving as the Director of Theatre Arts at The Out-of-Door Academy, where significant program growth was achieved. Lubas's professional journey also includes performing with the Boston Lyric Opera and instructing at various educational institutions, showcasing a dedicated commitment to vocal arts education and performance.
