Heather Duncan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governmental affairs and communications. Currently serving as the Vice President of Governmental Affairs at the University of North Florida since November 2018, Heather manages the governmental affairs program and acts as a liaison between the university and governmental entities. Prior to this role, Heather was the Regional Director of External Affairs at AT&T for over 13 years, overseeing governmental relations and community engagement across 13 counties in Northeast Florida. Heather's career also includes positions such as Area Marketing Director at BellSouth Advertising & Publishing and Regional Director of Advertising & Promotions at BellSouth Mobility, along with early roles as Training Manager at Telular Corporation and International Project Coordinator at MTel. Heather holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising with minors in Marketing and English from the University of Southern Mississippi.
