Dr. Philip R. Geist has over 40 years of work experience in various consulting and management roles. Dr. Philip R. began their career at LKB Administrative Systems in 1972 as a Consultant before moving to Brooks International as a Management Consultant in 1973. In 1975, they joined Deloitte as a Senior Consultant, and in 1977 they became a Managing Consultant at PA Consulting Group. From 1986 to 1994, Dr. Geist worked as a Partner at Management Resources. Since 1995, they have been employed at the University of North Florida, where they currently serve as the Area Director for the Small Business Development Center, overseeing multiple offices and satellite operations.
Dr. Philip R. Geist holds an Ed.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University and an M.B.A. degree in Management and Finance from LIU Post. Dr. Philip R. also obtained certification as a Certified Business Continuity Professional from DRI International in December 2012.
