Ioanna Dionysiou is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in computer science, currently serving as a Professor at the University of Nicosia since September 2006. Prior roles include Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the same institution. Additionally, Ioanna held the position of CCS BeWiser member with the Cyprus Computer Society from 2014 to 2016. Ioanna contributed to Washington State University as an Adjunct Faculty member at the School of EECS and as a Research Fellow on an NSF-funded project focusing on cyber infrastructure for the power grid from 2009 to 2014, following earlier work as a Research Assistant on another NSF-funded project from 2002 to 2006. Ioanna's industry experience includes designing secure communication layers at TriGeo Network Security in 2001. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Washington State University, complemented by a Diploma in Computer Science from the Higher Technical Institute.
