Ed Cervone is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic partnerships, external affairs, and education advocacy. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Partnerships and External Affairs at the University of New England since April 2022, Ed previously held prominent positions including Executive Director of the Center for Innovation in Education and VP of External Partnerships at Thomas College, as well as Executive Director of Educate Maine, where efforts focused on college and career readiness for Maine residents. Additional roles include Director of Operations at the Denver Preschool Program, President & CEO of the Maine Development Foundation, and Policy Analyst at the Maine Center for Economic Policy. Ed's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Princeton University and a Master's degree in Resource Economics and Policy from the University of Maine.
