Dr. Andrea Holzner, PhD, MPhil, CCP, is a seasoned gerontologist and educator with extensive experience in geriatric care, manuscript reviewing, and academic instruction. Currently serving as a reviewer for The Gerontologist and a gerontologist/educator at Advance Geriatric Educational Solutions since 2009, Dr. Holzner provides expertise in geriatric patient care and offers court testimony regarding issues of incompetence, neglect, and abuse. Additionally, Dr. Holzner holds adjunct professor positions at the University of Mount Olive and California Southern University, while also offering training and consulting services related to aging and Alzheimer's disease. Education includes a PhD in Gerontology, an MPhil in Psychology from Walden University, and a background in clinical psychology and neuroscience. Ongoing research focuses on neuro-psychology in relation to the evolving challenges of aging and societal development.
